The recently conducted 2013/2014 West African Senior School Leaving Certificate Examination (WASSCE) statistics shows that majority of students who sat for the examination would be experiencing shortfalls in major areas. WAEC May - June 2013 Result Released: Check Instructions

889,636 candidates obtained six credits and above, while 1,074,065 others obtained five credits and above. Further breakdown revealed that 1,225,591 candidates obtained credits and above in four subjects, 1,353,273 obtained credits and above in three subjects, while 1,465,581 obtained credits and above in two subjects.
A total of 1,689,188 candidates registered for the examination out of which 1,543,683 candidates sat for the examination.
“Out of the total number of candidates, 1,543,683 candidates, representing 91.38 per cent, have their results fully released while 145,505 candidates, representing 8.62 per cent, have a few of their subjects still being processed,” the report said.
The examination body also stated that 112,865 candidates’ results, representing 6.75 per cent, are being withheld in connection with various cases of examination malpractices.
Finally, Candidates who sat for the examination will be able to check their results online as soon as their result is out.
