How many Websites are in the World? I once asked this type of question some years ago and I was told it is a tricky question with no definite answer.
However, according to a survey conducted by Netcraft as at August 2012, there are 628,170,204 active website on the internet.
The graph below shows the details of the total website on the internet from 1995 till December 2011.
Blue color shows the total number of websites.
Red color shows the daily updating websites (Active sites).

Google claim to index billion of websites daily and i see the growing creation of websites daily...i hope my website will be among the best.
