How to Disable Google Plus Email and SMS Notifications

Google Plus is a social networking site which gives it users the abilities to create circles of friends, hang out via group video chat with your circles, find online articles based on your interests, and more. By default, you get notified by email or SMS or both whenever any action involving you is taken on Google Plus.

Although, receiving notifications via email is a good way of driving engagement on the Google Plus social network, but at the same time it’s annoying to some people. I remember the day I commented on a Google Plus page’s post before I went to bed. When I woke up the second day, 100’s of new email & SMS notifications poured in. I immediately disable the feature on my account as it doesn’t allow me to navigate through my inbox conveniently. If you also don’t want to be notified via SMS or email regarding what’s going on Google +, follow the simple steps I outlined below.
